I agree with the other poster; American Roadhouse is quite good. The Flying Bisquit can be hit or miss, especially at the Midtown Location. West Egg on Howell Mill is outstanding! Their atmosphere is unique and quirky. The restaurant is easy to miss but look for the U-Haul Storage facility between 10th and 14th and you'll find it in the same complex. Murphy's in Virginia Highland was always great. I haven't been there for years but they still seem to bring the crowds in. A small chain called J. Christopher's is also surprisingly good. They have a web site that lists all locations. I've been to the one in Sandy Springs and it was packed!

There is a great restaurant called Two Thumbs Up! It is not far from Downtown, I think its on Edgewood Ave. 404-233-0690

Note: Bring Cash... No cards accepted! Arrive early on the weekends! This spot has a line started at least 15 minutes before the open.

Waffle House and The Flying Biscuit are old favorites. Ray's on the River has a great Sunday buffett and i hear that The Globe now has a Sunday buffett that's excellent as well.

The Silver Skillet on 14th on the Ga Tech side of I-75/85. It is very good and relatively inexpensive. It has been around for many years. It is a classic diner experience.

I always see the Flying Biscuit with a line out of the door. American Roadhouse in Virginia Highland is pretty good.(Get there early, they close at 2 or 3).

One place that I thought was great after living in Atlanta a number of years ago was "OK Cafe". Haven't been in some time, but it was pretty good.
