There's a good chance she will run and she SHOULD win, but there are too many people in this country who don't like powerful women. And admittedly, she does come on kind of strong at times. She needs to spend the next year or so softening her image if she does run otherwise she'll go down in defeat. The unfortunate truth is that too many people in this country - including sadly, women - think the country should be run by a rich, white male. Her best bet: Clinton/Obama - as long as he remains the hot glamour boy in politics. I would vote for her and think she would make a great president - and isn't it about time we had a woman in charge? Could she screw up the country any more than the current occupant of the Oval Office has done?

If she runs and she is nominated by her party then the Democrats will not win. If the Democrats want to have any chance of winning in 2008 they should come up with a strong male candidate and a strong vice presidential candidate both males and Christian. I know this offends some people but it is the truth. Anything else the Republicans will win!

She sure has her eye on the prize, and it may be a close race, but I don't think she'll win. The U.S. is not ready for a female President. I am a woman, so nobody can call me anti-female, but this is what I really do think. The majority of women are more emotional than most men. Men are more aggressive and warlike, whereas women would rather talk about their differences, than fight about them. Mars/Venus, remember? It's a hormone thing and fortunately can't be helped.
Besides all that, just being the first lady of a Pres. that left the U.S. in such a mess will be a big deterrent for many voters.

Hillary Clinton is a very intelligent person, who recognizes her strengths and weaknesses. She will not be swayed by partisan politics. If she believes the American people will accept her on her principles, and her vision for a stronger America, she will "step up to the plate"'; otherwise, she will opt for being a representative of the State of New York, working for legislation she and her constituents support.

I think she should run and I think she has a good chance of winning. If she will distance herself from all of the hard core liberals and tell Kerry and Gore to STFU. If she picks a good running mate and has a great deal of support, publicly, from her husband I think she could win. I would vote for her.
Edit: Now that I think about it why would any Democratic candidate need to court or cater to hard core liberals. Do they think they would actually vote for a Republican if the Democratic candidate were not quite liberal enough?
