I consider most humour is hurtful or embarassing to the person concerned.
We have been taught to laugh at ourselves.
I j ust think it is cruel.

Something bad which happens to other people is funny.
You hitting your elbow is not funny. Your neighbour walking along the street and, while avoiding a pile of dog excrement, falling into an open sewer drain, is funny.
