Marijuana and the youth?

Question

All of a sudden kids are labeling other kids as pot heads and stoners and believeing they are bad people because they smoke or drink. That makes no sense. And you know where they are getting these ******* ideas, from tv ad commercials and uptight health teachers. The character of someone should not be judged by what they do to their body.

I posted this before, but everyone just seemed to use the criminal or illegal route, put that to the side and think for yourself dont have tv ads and the government think for you.

Well as someone a kid would label as a "pot head" i don't think that theres anything wrong with it. If a person decides to smoke some weed then ten points for them and the same for if someone never smokes weed.i don't think that people are any different from anyone else just because they like to abuse a lil substance.lol.but some people might compare weed to crack or meth or some powerful drug....but the people that do that make their own decsions in their life's. Drinking is just something that basically everyone does and is not a big deal i think that if people over react to things like that just need to do it them self's just to see how it is before they go judging someone for what they do. I smoke pot but i am also a very kind, caring and loving person. And for all those T.v adds they have about pot smoking and teen drinking are just ways the government try to scare today's youth/people into not doing it. And lets just be honest the only reason why pot isn't legal is because the gov. can't tax us on it. But as soon as they can I'm sure I'll be ever to drive up to your local Quick mart and get a pack of Maryjane's!!LIL!!that would be the day. But basically i think that you should judge a book by it's cover.well that's my out look on things

Don't worry its all going well for marijuana actually its "HEMP". Your just seeing the last line of defense for stances against it. Really how much more stupider can everyone go on with absolutely no experience and time clocked in on it. Some stupid ads have admitted it does nothing, short summary of something stupid I saw in the box one day. Something like this, I smoked weed, and no one got hurt, no one Overdosed on heroin the next day, NOTHING Happened, we just sat on "Pete's" couch all day, doing nothing. I on the other hand would take my chances in the real world, and the narrator walks into to a movie (to do nothing.....) (basically) So yea... They just admitted it doesn't kill you and its not a gateway drug, but they seriously have no grasp what nothing is. Nothing to them is just sitting a thinking, "it not important to think, apparently", and the other funny part is the fact the narrator said he would rather do something with his time, you don't need to have that much a education (just common sense) to realize what watching something does to your mind. So really don't worry about it, and if you run across clowns like you mentioned, just say what I wrote, and make sure to tell them it came from the t.v. aka their GOD. So they will have to believe it. That's only if you want to help someone, with a better perspective.

i teach high school and some kids admit they have smoked pot a lot and they are ok, but others are so obviously impaired from their foray into pot that the phrase 'smoked themselves stupid' applies. i think it is individual. pot can be harmless for 9 out of 10 people, but the tenth one has a bad reaction, lingering depression, or change of personality. same for alcohol.

People love to look down on other people it makes them feel all high and mighty. When people started calling me pot head in high school I would just start singing I am the weed man I am the weed man by bizzy bone they usually shut up after that cuz when you make it seem like the s h i t then those squares feel left out.

Yeah kids are really scared of marijuana its a pretty big deal. But it just depends on how you are brought up. I think its crazy how people can go there whole lives with out trying it i mean come on you only live once so live it up its not like it will kill you.

The stereotyping hasn't changed all that much. It's just that now,as you said, it's all over the tv.They devote alot more adspace to it.But, lets throw at them the countries where it is legal. Not to mention our own states that are legalizing it! It isalot less harmful than alcohol and many scripts that are alot easier
to obtain nowadays! So, I say F*#@K them!
