I have been a member since 6/2006 and have read some good answers concerning this horrible shot. I tried fertiaid or Ovulex I can't remember because it was a while back but no immediate results as far as making my periods come again. I had been without one since May 2005(from 6 month shots of depo provera) but with lots of prayers, vitamins, eating right I guess. The Lord heard and answered me last night with spotting at first and today with fresh red blood. Hooray!!!!!!!!!! Without a period I can't conceive right? Never thought I would be so glad to see my period. Let's me know don't ever take things for granted. I will never mess with my natural female body functions again unless it's life threatening, Amen. Thank You God and Jesus.

I'm so happy for you. I really wish doctors would talk more to patients about this. It truly is horrible. It took me 18 months after just one shot to get my periods back. I was told I could be infertile! There should defiantly be a recall.
Thanks for posting this! Maybe someone who is considering the shot will think twice.

Good for you. After I went off depo it took me a year to get my periods again. Best of luck.

thank you for letting us know may be someone is thinking about it and this can help them decide not to do that.Its better to have our natural female body fuctions, as you said. God knows better what its best for us.
