I have a wireless laptop that connects to the internet through a wireless router. That is also hooked up to a regular hard wired router that two other computers are on which can both access the internet also through the regular cables. What I'm trying to do is be able to access the regular network using my wireless laptop but don't know if this is possible. What do I need to do to access the files I need. I think I got half way where I can see the files on another computer but when trying to access it, it says I don't have permission or unable to access. Can you help? Thanks a million!

The computers that are hooked up to the regular cables have the Share Folder (hand) enabled. The make folder private is not selected either.

The computer you are accessing must have it's "share files" command set to share.

The other computer turned on the security setting on the shared file. To turn it off, go no the computer that has the files then right-click on the file that you want to copy to your laptop then click properties then click on the sharing tab. If you see the check boxes grayed out click on the Another Folder link. A new window will pop up then uncheck the check box that said
Make this folder private. Go back to the folder that you want to share and go
to properties, go the sharing tab then check share this folder on the network then put the share name. Now try to obtain the file.
