Don't you think that accidents on the set happen all the time? Why would you find that hard to believe?
Anyway, a lot of the answers above also had a very good discussion on what would happen if the two fought for real. Of course we'd never really know the answer to that. While Chuck was a seasoned champion, he fought under the limits of the competition. A friend of mine taught me some moves that would guarantee you'd never want to throw a punch again. Bruce's book also discussed street fighting mostly and would have moves like eye jabs and such. Anyway I was in the Karate team and my friend was telling me that in a real fight, my training might actually hinder me because I wouldn't expect the dirty tricks. If only for that I still wouldn't be too sure that Chuck can beat Bruce Lee.

I am old enough to remember Bruce Lee in the entertainment news all the time. As far as I know he was an exceptional choreographer, more than a great fighter. So in a movie he could do a fight scene and not hurt anyone, it is a movie. But in real life Chuck Norris was more that accurate Chuck was powerful ans active in fighting.
In other words Bruce Lee was better at knowing ans showing the moves but Chuck was better at actually using them in real life.
No he would not have gotten hurt for real with Bruce calling the moves. They would be timed and spaced just right.

I dont know if thats the famous fight,,
but i heard someone tell me that in a interview with Norris he said that he tried everything to beat Lee but Lee used some 27 forms of Judo or some other karate and was just too much to handle.

Yes, Grasshopper...the Mighty Bruce would thrash Norris most resoundingly, with no hope ever of the Chuckster regaining face. At least not a face that wasn't black and blue.

It was "Enter the Dragon", and no, Chuck is just being a wuss. In real life, Bruck would make whip cream out fo Chuck. Not that I have anything against Chuck, he is good, and prospered well. But Bruce was way to fast.

I use to be a big Bruce Lee fan got all kinds of mags from his fan club never once did I hear anything about chuck claiming Bruce hurt him, come on now Chuck was middle weight champion for real Bruce was just a great teacher and true friend with Chuck, they were very close Bruce is the one that paved Chucks entire career so that is simple nonsense. there are so many misconception as to so many things as far as Bruce Lee he was like Elvis Prestley in the way he went against all ancient Chinese beliefs and merged many styles into one Jeet Kune do. He was a true legend in his own way but lets not forget although he was great he wasn't a champion like Chuck Norris, if for real Chuck would have destroyed Bruce in a real fight, but that's not important it is what Bruce taught and did that matters, he was a great actor and that's what he was since he was a child even , I have that fight scene on old VHS actually have watched so many times, there are so many rumor's as to the real way he died too , honestly and I hate to say this he died from a brain aneurysm, and was at a friends home(a Womans that wasn't his wife) at a party in Cal, where he complained to have a severe migrain he went to a bedroom to lay down and never woke up, after the autopsie he was said to have traces of pot in his system which I guess makes sence if he had a severe headache,im not judgeing him but it's simply fact.Maybe drugs had a part in his death I don't know the answer to that. But the answer is no way did Bruce hurt Chuck hell Chuck respected Bruce and should love the heck out of the guy he Made Chuck who he is to this day.Again remember Chuck was middle weight champion in real life before he ever got into the Movies he was like champion for 7 years or so you people acting like Bruce would have beat Chuck are so silly, I love Bruce dont get me wrong I wish he was that good, Bruce was a great teacher and he went against tradition but in reality they were not even in the same weight division Chuck is bigger than Bruce, you wouldnt put a lightweight in with a middle weight thats just not gonna work.Bruce was an actor and philosopher. Sent away from Hong Kong at a young age cause he was a trouble maker in China, His father felt he had a better future in USA, and he was right .He did return to China and did three movies before he returned to the USA and did Enter the Dragon whats sad is he died before the opening of that movie in Hollywood, He never finished Game of Death, that was a movie he produced and created himself, but never finished .Did yall know he was the one that came up with the idea for the show Kung Fu, he was so upset he wasnt picked for the part in that show he went back to China where he made his successful movies fist of furry , the chinese connection and return of the Dragon with Chuck, anyway was so good Warner Bros asked Bruce to come back to the USA too star in Enter the Dragon, the rest is history.Bruce Lee (27 November, 1940 - 20 July, 1973)

Of course not, they are actors merely. Bruce Lee injured himself and died two years later.

If you Google search "Chuck Norris getting his *** kicked" you will generate zero results. It just doesn't happen.
