I don't understand why some Internet users let themselves get suckered into hoaxes like 'give me (name any large sum of money) and I will make you rich beyond your wildest dreams'...I have gotten so much spam like that in my inbox, the schemes are so stupid, I laugh my a** off reading some of them! The Nigerian hoaxes are the worst. And then there are televangelists like Pat Robertson(and so many others it would take a supercomputer to keep track of them all)who always ask for the almighty buck(or pound, yen, peso, etc) Why would anyone part with their money and give it to some charlatan who's filling up their big fat bank account with it and not using it for charitable deeds?

i guess they feel lonely, or r desperate. i remember seeing that episode on Dr. Phil, youd think the people falling for it are stupid, but really to some extent they are just normal human beings with feelings. Being lonely can really cause someone to make bad decisions.
