What is wrong? The problem is you have an eating disorder.
If you need 10 reasons why you should eat maybe you should go see a dr or give us 10 reasons why you should starve yourself. Come on YOU are smarter than that. You know you have to eat to survive and be healthy. Dont do this to your parents. Is being skinny really worth i? No its not. Please reconsider before you end up in a situation you will regret. Prayers go out to you and your family.

Because I don't find bean poles like you anywhere near the sphere of attractive.
Because if you even manage to make it to 40 without dying, you'll be lucky to be hobbling around in a F**cking walker.
How dare you kill yourself when people are dying everyday from diseases they never saw coming. Maybe you like seeing your mother cry, but I sure as hell didn't when my father died of a heart attack 6 years ago.
I Don't think having my body fall apart and breakdown in disgusting steps is my ideal of a "perfect body" You see these abs? I didn't get them from puking the contents of my god damn stomach everyday.
If your starve yourself you will turn into an ugly malnourished hag. The opposite of a beautiful fit body, working like a well oiled machine.
Say bye bye to your hair.
Your joints will ache like an old woman.
Have fun sh!ting stomach acid.
Oh and don't forget those doctor visits when the sh!t is so stuck up your azz you have to squirt water up there to get it out.
Say goodbye to your health forever. It ain't pretty, but this is what we're talking about here.

1) Death
2) Abnormally slow heart rate and low blood pressure, which mean that the heart muscle is changing. The risk for heart failure rises as heart rate and blood pressure levels sink lower and lower.
3) Reduction of bone density (osteoporosis), which results in dry, brittle bones.
4) Muscle loss and weakness.
5) Severe dehydration, which can result in kidney failure.
6) Fainting, fatigue, and overall weakness.
7) Dry hair and skin, hair loss is common.
Growth of a downy layer of hair called lanugo all over the body, including the face, in an effort to keep the body warm.
8) Loss of menstrual periods in girls and women post-puberty.
9) Withdrawal from usual friends and activities.
10) Anorexia nervosa involves self-starvation. The body is denied the essential nutrients it needs to function normally, so it is forced to slow down all of its processes to conserve energy. This “slowing down” can have serious medical consequences.

Between 0.5-1% of American women suffer from anorexia nervosa.
Anorexia nervosa is one of the most common psychiatric diagnoses in young women (Hsu, 1996).

i noticed that your screen name is HUMILIATED. WHY?????I
i think that there is alot of self loathing going on here.....and you are not eating because you hate yourself. or maybe you are having a contest with yourself to see how much weight that you can lose....but sweetie, you are playing a very dangerous game.
i used to weigh myself 6 times a day and yes i will admit that i was definately anorexic. and then i had all kinds of medical problems brought on by malnutrition. do yourself a favor and just
cool your jets. your body is a temple and you owe it to yourself to treat it like it was a temple.

You should never fast to LOSE WEIGHT. There are fasting "diets" to help rid of toxins and things like that, but they are not supposed to cause weight loss, nor are they intended to do so. This isn't what I'm going to talk about.
I used to not eat for days... since I never got to the extreme underweight zone, and I could hide things, I got away with it.
Fast forward to the present day and--
1. I have gastroparesis. Don't know what that is? It's when your stomach doesn't digest your food easily, causing bad stomach aches, nausea and vomiting, weight gain or weight loss (depending on what you eat), and more. It's a side effect of things like anorexia or anorexia nervosa. You see, with gastroparesis you're only *supposed* to eat limited things, basically anything REALLY good is out! If you eat what you're not supposed to, it sticks around your stomach longer, and if you don't control your diet strictly, it's easier to gain weight. When you eat, be prepared to look like a preggo!
That's gotta be ten reasons right there--with all the problems from gastroparesis!
2. Well, even if you don't get gastroparesis (which involves VERY slow metabolism), chances are your metabolism is going to slow down somewhat anyway. Because of this, I find it harder to LOSE weight--so you might lose a few pounds in a weekend and be ok, but later on you're going to have a much harder time--perhaps for the rest of your life.
3. If you do it too much it starts to control your brain and your actions. All you can think about is weight, weight, weight. Eating, eating, eating. Calories, calories, calories. It affects your concentration, your view of others (suddenly every person becomes someone to measure yourself next to--"Oh, I'm MUCH skinnier than *her*, but is *that girl* skinnier than me? I want to look like her.") And also:
4. Ever have food nightmares? To this day, the dreams I had involving food, from when I was either starving myself or making myself purge, are some of the scariest dreams I've ever had. I could taste and smell the food, and then I woke up with a REAL fear--I would be freaked out, and I would wonder if I ate something in my sleep, and if so what should I do? Is it too late to get it out of my system?
5. Your blood pressure lowers, making you faint easier and more; ok, so I used to think the lightheadedness was cool sometimes, but it gets really old. You need to function normally, and when you feel like you're going to pass out half way between your home and your destination with no where to go, it's not fun. Also, feeling like you're going to pass out just because you have FOOD in your stomach isn't so great, either. I get that commonly even now.
6. The weight doesn't stay off. I know this is something everyone says, but really: it doesn't! I've yo-yo'd a lot since going between starving, binging/purging, eating normally, etc, etc, etc.
7. Fasting doesn't always help you to lose weight, anyway. I mentioned other types of fasts before--well, basically, the closer you are to your "perfect" weight for your body, the less you are actually going to lose on a fast, no matter what kind of fast it is. So the closer you are to that perfect weight, the more you are going to have to exercise while on that fast to see results. This can cause even more problems.
8. If you don't already exhibit an "addictive" personality, starving yourself can help develop that "facet" of your being. Which means, if you find it hard to stop starving yourself, but eventually succeed, your "addiction" might become focused on something else--binge eating, bulimia, even something unrelated like drinking, smoking, drugs, cutting, etc.
9. Loose skin! Hahaha, I still have some loose skin on me from years ago. When you lose weight slowly and exercise while doing it, your skin has an opportunity to "bounce" back, and regain some elasticity and such. If you lose weight too fast, and don't take in enough nutrients, your skin doesn't shrink. Obese patients who have gotten gastric bypass encounter the same problem.... for some it requires surgery to cut the excess off.
10. I've pretty much come to the conclusion that weight loss is a lifestyle choice for the rest of your life, not something you can do and then stop once you're satisfied with your weight. The thing is, once you go back to old habits, the weight goes back on no matter what. So good weight loss requires a full lifestyle change for the better. Think about it--do you really want to be starving yourself for the rest of your life?! Never, ever to fully ENJOY food again?
11. Ok, since I've done 10 and this is extremely long, how about this: hair loss; missing periods; fear of eating in front of people, in normal settings; loss of muscle strength; loss of awareness due to fatigue; stomach aches when starting to eat again; problems with bowel movements & stomach pains; low self-esteem; etc.
