Pick the Wolf,.. if you love them.. you can really go nuts and on and on impressing your teacher and if you were me getting you some extra credit.
There is alot more to cover with Wolves because there is more interest and studies with them. They have been a figure to humanity for so so long with so many stories,.. whereas the Coyote don't get much attention past being called a Pest and faceing the same posible fate as the Wolverine.

Wolves are wonderful animals and mate for life. Wolves have a wonderful family order and are much different than coyotes. Coyotes are not as picky, and will mate with a domesticated dog if allowed to. You will enjoy and learn a lot about the wolf. Most people fear them, but you will learn to love this animal without hesitation. Enjoy, and good luck!

If it`s for yourself, i believe wolfs are lot more interesting and fascinating than coyote,..but if you have to make a project for school or something, i think you should try the coyote. will be more interesting as i bet 90% of the class will choose wolf ,..which is easier, considering that the internet is full of studies and researches about it and is easy to copy/paste :P

Coyotes are much misunderstood animals. They are more social than the wolf. The wolf comes with its own stigma. I would chose the coyote only because we have a local one that runs through town.

depends on what you want to include in your research. i personally would go with the wolf. there is a little more research and history on these animals right from the ties to the native cultures to when they were almost wiped out by hunting and poisoning to when they have made a comeback. as well as the breeding programs that are in place now a days. makes for a good paper, don't you think?

i say you should do the wolf because there are more facts about it and they're more interesting. if you take tests about who's your animal spirit, a wolf would probably come most often rather than a coyote

I would say the coyote because "everyone" researches the wolf.

it depends on what you are researching. Coyotes get a bad rep around neighborhoods and their good points are hardly every mentioned. Wolves on the other hand, end up with a regal stature in myth and legend.

You should do the coyote and cover the conflict taking place between them and people (in California especially).
