Well, Einstein was no Einstein when he was a young student, and it certainly didn't stop him from succeeding later in life. Supposedly he was such a terrible student that his teachers suggested taking him out of school altogether -- an idea that his mother rejected.

Maybe Mrs. Einstein was the real Einstein in the family! ;-)

Andrew Carnegie - one of the wealthiest men in the world around the turn of the 20th century - had a 4th grade education!

Numerous superstars (too many to mention) from the entertainment and music industries. Bob Dylan comes to mind - he never had much use for school, and dropped out of college after 1 semester.

Numerous professional athletes - especially in baseball, or football / basketball who left college prematurely - are poor to average students, yet are multi-millionaires.

Even Bill Gates, the world's richest individual, was a college dropout.

Furthermore, there are many A-students who have not succeeded in life, for various reasons.

Duke is your nick name, are you?, So the answer is, it is you Duke, you are the one who make yourselves successful, what ever grade A,B,C etc.. or no grade at all even, since success is you define it, no one else. If your success depend on what people say and you try to achieve it, I am afraid you will be in a very big trouble. Based on above, you name any C student, you will find that he / she is the one who succeeded in life (their life).
