nah...terrorists could attack anything and make it bad...
it would take something very powerful to cause a leak...
When it comes to storing old waste only a very small percentage is actually considered high level radiation...like less than 1 percent...I live in Illinois ....we have several nuclear plants here....Nuclear power as of now generates 33 percent of all electricity... its relatively cheap to produce too...
personally our society could do without coal or nuclear all together....windmills and other alternatives could supply large amounts of clean and efficient energy....but for now nuclear and coal is what we rely on...

there should be strict laws, and much more research done to take care of those problems. It is still probably better for the world than the current fossil fuels we buy from the arabs.
