I love all the oldies, me and my hubby just got the Essential REO Speedwagon and Journeys Greatest Hits, Falco, and a few others. I love Air Supply and Foreigner, and so many more.

BTW, love the name, Guns' and Roses is my favorite band of all time, I saw them about 3 times in concert.

I like Blue Oyster Cult. I don't like Rush or Boston. Cheap Trick and Reo are okay.

BOC is great. Rush is great. Those bands existed in an interesting time in my youth in the 70s. Zeppelin, Floyd, ELO, lots of bands were very oriented to longer songs and are sometimes referred to as album rock. A whole album was like a musical book. You had a whole album not just one or two songs to listen to and with Floyd you had the whole album side you heard. Before CDs some albums changed the order of songs to fit them on tapes. 8 track tapes sometimes clicked in mid SONG!!! Wow now we have everything in a row on CDs with no flipping over! We are lucky!

MRS WIZARD MUST BE REALLY YOUNG SHE CALLED IT OLDIES!!!! WOW!!! Oldies are the 50s not the 70s!

From the late 60s Beatles to the early 80s we had some great musicians and albums and we called it CLASSIC ROCK man!

It still rules!

I love those old bands. I am so into BCO and Rush and old Ozzy and stuff! I think the new music does not have the feel of the classic tunes!
