I don't like watching women play basketball (or men for that matter), but I do like that women play basketball. WNBA players are positive roll models for girls and young women, stating that it's good to be athletic and that drugs are bad.
Your average female basketball player (in high school or college) isn't masculine looking. Most girls like to shoot hoops for fun. I am not even athletic, but I still like to shoot hoops every now and then, and it is really empowering as a woman when you can make a 3 pointer and a lot of others cannot!:) Great for self-esteem.

Well I played basketball in middle school, and high school, and I still play so yes watching women's basketball is interesting to me, and obviously no I wouldn't find it too masculine for them...

I like to...but for different reasons. I'm not against women or women playing sports or anything, I'm all for it- but watching women play basketball can sometimes be very funny.

Yes, I have a friend who plays for the Chicago Sky. She isn't masculine.

I prefer men's basketball. I don't think of it as a woman's sport. I'd rather watch women's college volleyball.

I like football better. We have a womans' team here called the Pensacola Power and they are awesome.

well, i think it looks very cool to actually see women doing their best so they can do whatever men can do.
even though, they mostly do it in their own way.
