I would say if you are feeding her every 3-3 1/2 hrs this is ok. I had a lot of feeding problems with my son. I was told by the doctors that it takes 3-3 1/2 hrs for the babies stomach to empty. Therefore if you are feeding them before this time period, they may get a tummy ache and fussy. It may be difficult at first to hold them off, but in the long run it will be better for you and baby. Baby will get more full and not snack as much which is what she needs to do. And you won't feel like you are constantly feeding her. Possibly she is not getting full. 3 ounces does not seem like a lot to me for a 2 month old baby, so that's why I suggest she may only be snacking. But I guess every baby is different. Good Luck!

As long as she's gaining weight and wetting more than 4 or 5 diapers a day, She should be fine. If you are really concerned you can always ask your baby's doctor whether there may be something wrong.
P.S. My 2 month old changes the amount of formula she drinks almost daily. One day she'll barely drink 18 oz. and the next she'll take almost 30. But her doc says she's absolutely fine.

When a baby is eating a lot that means that she isn't getting full off her formula, i know a doctor will tell u not to feed them cereal until they are around 4-6 months but when mine got to where they starting wanting more formula i started adding a touch of cereal to there bottle, u may have to put a little bit bigger hole in the nipple but it works. It never hurt mine and I have 4 that I did that with, they stay fuller longer and sleep better at night.

3-4 oz every 3-4 hours is perfect for a two month old baby. That is the recommended amount.

My baby is 11 weeks old. He gets 32 ounces per day and is getting a bit hungry. I would say you are within normal range. You need to tell us how much your baby weighs, length and birth weight and length.

Rule of thumb is 2.5 times their weight. So...it sounds fine; maybe a little low.
