I recently turned 14. I am a 34B. I am 5'9" and 120 lbs. I haven't started my period, but I've had discharge for a year. I want to go to the doctor, but I don't know if my mom will take me because she'll probably just tell me it's nothing to worry about. I am tired of hearing this! I just want to get over the wait and suspense!
Is there anything that will make it come faster?

HI SARAH
i really think there is nothing wrong with you. i did not start my period until i was 15......if you don't start by the time you are 15&1/2 then ask your mom to take you to the doctor.....but right now i would not worry.....believe me, when it does come, then you are going to wish that it would go away...but right now you are ok, so don't worry......

Sarah,
Mother nature(your period) is nothing to rush hun, you`re only 14 enjoy not having one right now....enjoy you life the way it is b/c a period is something that will stick with you every month for the rest of your life until you get older and end up having a cetain type of surgery that stops them.Take care of yourself and God bless you.

You will start when your body is ready. I know you want to get on with it and have it already, but trust me, be glad you don't have to deal with it yet. You will eventually hate it. It's really no fun at all having it. You get bloated. You get stomic aches. You are really tired. You get grumpy. You constantly have to check yourself to make sure you are not overflowing. You have to wash up there alot. What's so exciting about that? Not much. Have patience and it will be here before you know it. There is nothing you can do to make it start early.

OMG. I was the ecact same way. Until like 11 days ago. I got my first period. I know you will hear this a lot and you will never believe me, but I will say it is exiting to get it for the first couple days, but after a couple more days it gets old.

Sara. No, nothing will make it come faster. Stay involved in the important areas in your life and it'll come at the most inconvenient time you can imagine. Mine came on the first day of school and I had white pants on...had no idea what was happening!

Nope, darlin. There's nothing that will make it come faster. You're feeling like you're not "normal" at this point, but you are. Soon enough, you'll be joining the ranks of us complaining females. Be sure to let us women know when. I'll be sure to celebrate with you!
