I Am trying to get a grasp of how some humans seem to be able to mentally transcend time. I know that our brains have neural networks with energy zooming around through them at the speed of light.

I also have read some of the works of Edgar Cayce, who spent some time curing the ill as well as forecasting the future. I was most impressed with his prediction of a Polar Shift to have taken place in 1998: Today, such a shift has been detected in progress.

Energy traveling at light speed cannot transcend time or be "everywhere" at once. According to the Einsteinian theory of relativity (If you belive such things :P) Time only slows relative to the object that is approaching the speed of light. So relatively speaking if you could take the perspective of the energy traveling at the speed of light then you get wherever you are going instantly, because time stopped for your relative position. However everywhere else in the universe time kept meandering about on it's own pace so if you traveled 600 lightyears, it was instant for you, but 600 years for the person waiting on you to get there.
