thumbs up for asking a question that made me have to actually think!!!
In the grand scheme of things, I'd say, sure, why not?
Ours is not the only solar system, nor is the milky way the only galaxy, space is like a giant living being where, using stars as examples, life, death and other changes are constantly occurring.
Who's to say that a sun in another galaxy is heating primordial soup to just the right temperature, under the right circumstances, and creating life, bonding molecules to create single cell organisms, etc.
If space is infinite, we are just a speck

If the universe is closed and spherical, there is speculation that our entire universe, as far as we can see, is nothing but a closed electron in a much larger universe we can never see. That universe, is a closed electron in a bigger universe and so on. further, every electron in our universe contains a miniature universe with galaxies, stars etc. An every electron in that universe contains a universe. An infinity in both directions.

Well then our solar system is a molecule and the universe is a group of molecules. But why would u want to consider that??

Absolutely!
I think that pretty much described the nature of the Universe.. ... it just goes infinitely smaller and bigger in this same sort of configuration.
