i fence saber and i was just wondering if anyone else has probl;ems with stereotypes? cuz maybe it's just me, but whenever someone mentions the words "fencing club" everyone just groans like it's the nerdiest thing in the world.

That's bogus. Fencing looks so cool. I wish I could fence. Those idiots probably think it's nerdy because they don't know what it is. Our generation isn't exactly full of the sharpest knives in the drawer, lol.
Seriously, cheer up and do what you like. Don't let anyone else judge you or label you.

I don't fence, but it looks like a lot of fun. Maybe I'll take leasons and learn or something.

Don't worry about what people say. Most activities are considered nerdy sooner or later and most come back at some point as well.

I wish I could fence. I tried to join the fencing club at school but they said I was not good enough and wasnt progressing as fast as the other learners. Oh well. :(

I don't fence...but I think it is the coolest sport ever! If I were 10 years younger I would totally try it!
