I dont know why but that is a great idea . Maybe you should pitch that idea to someone in Admin . In my area we can now recycle anything that is plastic w/a # on it . This just started this past week & i think that it is great . So they are recycleable in some states . I live in Louisville , Ky .

We play with them until they no longer work properly, then I throw them into the recycle bin or donate them, most are plastic.

They are if you have garage sales or once you are done donate them to the pediatrics ward of the local hospital or a homeless shelter.
