yes, they recently said removing trans fats would be equivalent to making them take lead out of paint. it is supposedly that bad for you. and since the taste is not different, i look at labels now and avoid trans fats. heart disease is lousy. dying fast is not the way it usually goes. it's a slow decline in health, so rather avoid it.

Yes, I do. And I won't eat anything with Partially Hydronated Trans fats as well. I bet you they will start putting the Partially in it instead. But basically its the same thing. But I hope that they will not. They said that in Oregon they were going to take out the Trans fats but instead they just substituded it with Partially Trans fats instead. So there was really no big change.

I always read the label. I have been for awhile. Just being conscious of what goes into your body will keep you on the right track. It is near impossible to give up trans or saturated fats. But being aware of them is the key!

I do watch the fats. Also the sodium and sugar content. Also make sure its whole grains. If we do not watch out for ourselves and family, who will? :) The funny thing is, when you eat healthier and then eat something junkie it does not taste good anymore. Good for you, for caring about yourself.

So you care about it. Is that a good reason for cities to pass laws outlawing it? Whatever happened to freedom of choice. What freedom will they try and take next? I bet if you did a survey, the worriers who want eat this or that because it's not good for you dies sooner than people who don't worry about such trivial things. We have bigger things to worry about like how are we going to kill islamofacists when they try and invade the USA.
I am a bacon grease fryer kind of guy too!

I do care. Why put in transfat when you can put in butter? It tastes the same. If I see something with transfat, I have recently started putting it back.
