mostly because we forget to take them out! Or you know that they will go with tomorrows outfit!

I sleep with earrings in because 2 of my piercings are like 2 years old while the other is about 1. I keep the studs in because I don't want them to eventually close up.
But I've had the other two since I was a baby so I don't wear earrings in those to bed.

This is my left ear. The cartilage is only 1 year old while the other one is about 2 years old. You can sort of see the hole for my oldest piercing, it's very faint. My other ear is the same except I don't have the cartilage pierced on that side. I'm not sure when I'll do it if I do.

Some women don't want to go through the ritual of putting on earrings everyday. Others just forget to take them out at night. And as for those with newly pierced ears, they are required to wear the same pair of earrings for a few weeks in order to set the hole and prevent sealing the new hole.

So they don't have to worry about putting them on the next morning. But some people have allergic reasons to doing that, though. I can sleep with earrings on that are gold, white gold or sterling silver. If I have the costume jewelry earrings on for too long, my ears can get infected. And there are times when you first get your ears pierced and you need to leave them on for at least 6 months or longer.

Some people don't have reactions to leaving them in and some people (men wear earrings too) need to keep them in because the holes close easily. Have a nice day.

I wear my earings 24/7. this is because i only wear the diamond earings from my husband. there is no need to take them out if i am not going to change them. oh yeah, this is my husbands sign in not mine.

i sleep with studs in sometimes.i would never wear dangle earrings tho.they could get caught somewhere and might rip ur ear.

Why not.It;s 2 much of a pain to remember to put them in and take them out all the time cuz i forget,so I just leave them in.

I 2nd ladychris...why not? My mother cannot sleep w/ them in b/c her ears are "sensitive" and they bother her. I don't notice them as long as they aren't danglies or huge studs.

I don't sleep with them because they hurt. I can't wait to take them out.
