You can't go wrong with dark dress slacks, dress shoes and a fantastic sweater or blouse with or without jacket. Nice shoes, bag and dress slacks show you are a professional through and through.
Dark colors seem to look the most professional (remember the old dark blue suit recommendation for men?) because it hides most flaws and no matter how inexpensive or poorly cut is not distracting. They will then focus on you, your skills and not your clothes.
Good luck! You'll do great.

Business casual attire. If the salon has a dress code, say they wear a blck/white business casual attire, wear a black/white business casual attire. One key to gaining points in an interview is to appear (dress) for the part (as if you already had the job).

If your a girl then
wear a striped blue long sleeve shirt then a brown tanktop on top
but having a collar from the blue shirts then a skirt ( kinda tight)
and your hair should be curled and in a ponytail and carry a notebook or a fashion magazine with you ( just in case you need reference!)
Boys were
Khackis and a long sleeve button down shirt or a polo

My advice is to be conservative, avoid dresses, wear shoes that have conservatives heals.Use a briefcase than a purse, watch out so that you have a perfect nail polish and again conservatives with no flowers or something similar.Try also to look natural and use less make-up and few jewerly.
