Your probably talking about those grayish city mice. I hate those. This is how you can keep them from coming:
Well, leave the light on at night in your kitchen. I used to see one or two but now they are freakin gone. The kitchen is their favorite place to be and they dont like being in the light. Yeah, its even worse if you live in an apartment, then you would have to tell the super or hire someone to find and reseal the holes.
Also make 100% sure you cover your garbage outside. The will tear the garbage open and eat it, make a big mess, and "invite some of their friends". One time i found this big *** rat the size of a small cat. Scared the crap outta me, and i changed my ways and never saw them again, summer/fall/winterand spring.

they are probable after your bunny foodstuff, because of the fact that they eat the comparable issues. additionally they deliver about fleas and lice and ailments which would be contagious to you and your bunny. (Bunnies are incredibly extra heavily on the topic of you than the mice). in case you have seen one, there are extra, and that they gets bolder over the years, so get on right of it tremendously speedy. Make an entire seek, and supply up up any holes or cracks the place they may well be stepping into (verify below all the sinks and any cracked, broken or badly seated electric retailers). do not overlook they might get in via your hearth in case you have one. do not go away your bunny foodstuff out anyplace, shop it in a sealed plastic field, and freshen up bunny messes without delay. connect draft stoppers to any doorways that don't seal with the physique. Mice can enter via VERY SMALL holes. positioned traps out, humane ones in case you sense the choose, yet then you definately'll could manage a stay mouse, incredibly of a ineffective one, and there are a number of extra mice the place that one got here from.

From being in the "business" of mouse extermination I can tell you positively that if you have seen one, there are at least 30-40 others you have not seen. If you had only one operating on your premises, you would never see it probably. Mice are social animals, and reproduce super quickly.

Yep, if you see one, you've got a family somewhere! Please do not use poison to get rid of them though. If the mouse gets the poison then your cat/dog eats the mouse, you just poisoned your own animal. Not to mention they can die in hidden places and that is so not a nice smell to try to track down and get rid of! Use traps and not glue ones, those are gross. Good luck.

We live in the woods, and had our share of mice, until we got our two cats. Our cats never caught any mice, but their presence made it clear that the mice should seek shelter back outdoors. But I would implore you to get a "have-a-heart" trap. You can bait it, catch the mice alive, and return the mice to the outside. They're innocent woodland creatures, and they only want to be warm. They're not going to hurt you, so please don't hurt them.

depends on if it was a male or female, if it was female you can bet there will be more. keep your traps baited and set. keep a sharp eye out for trailers along your baseboards, if your very observant, you can pretty much pinpoint the problem spots as to where they are coming in. favorite places are around laundry places and furnaces. i would start to look there first.

If there was one you can be sure there are more. They come inside when it gets cold. Make sure all holes around your pipes are sealed, doors close tight they can come inside through the smallest holes. Good Luck
