The song that you are talking about was written my Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails is called "Hurt".. The song was orginally recorded by Nine Inch Nails. Then in 2003 Johnny Cash then did a cover of this song on his last album before he died called " American IV: The Man Comes Around" Johnny Cash made a video to this song with is quite touching. Great Song!!!!

Its not Willie Nelson, that is a cover of Nine Inch Nail's "Hurt", done by the late, great Johnny cash (but NIN's version is MUCH MUCH BETTER)

Are you sure you're not referring to Hurt by Johnny Cash?

It'd be easy to confuse JC and Willie.
