I've heard Kid Rock is Hank Jr's son and am wondering if it's true or false. Has anyone else heard that Kid Rock is Hank Jr's son?

No this is not true. Kid Rocks real name is Robert Allen Ritchie, he was born in Romeo Michigan, he is not from Detroit. I know this because my great grandmother was Laura Ritchie, and his great grandmother was Ruth Ann Ritchie, they were cousins, so I guess this dude is a distant relative of mine. I have the whole family tree, his middle name is not James, or whatever everyone else is saying. Hank william Jr. No Relation

As much as Kid Rock wishes he was Hank Jr's son , he is in NO way related to Hank Williams Jr .Kid Rock does have the same rebellious attitude ,and a love for country and rock that Hank Jr has,but no blood relation !

No. Kid Rock's real name is Robert James Ritchie, not Williams. His dad was a car-dealer, not a singer.
He and Hank Jr. have collaborated, and are friends, but are in no way related. Hank has called Rock his "Rebel Son", but it's a term of endearment.
Hank Jr.'s real son is Hank Williams III, who is also a musician.

No he most definatley is not. And you can take that to the bank. Hank Williams Jr. has reffered to Kid Rock as his "Rebel Son" in the song "The F-Word" that they sing together. He doesn't mean he's literally his son. He's just expressing how close their friendship is.

There is no relationship between them. Hank's ONLY son's name is Sheldon Earl Williams but he performs as Hank Williams III both as a Solo Country/rockabilly artist and with his metal/hardcore band named Assjack.

absolutely not. hank williams jr's son is is hank williams III, who is now starting a music career of his own. there's no relation between kid rock and hank williams jr.

no this is just a rumor. kid rock was born and raised right outside of detroit. he ahs a younger brother andtwo parents that are still living today.
