OMG i can't believe that some people still believe that war in Iraq is about the 11 of september! lol

I am at 10 these days...
I cannot believe people still try to hold desperately to the thought that Iraq and 9-11 were related... The ONLY thing that related those two things was GW BUSH he WANTED to go into Iraq form his first day in office, to prove that the Bushes aren't WIMPS... He saw 9-11 as that chance and eventually he made it happen.
What is worse, we were LIED to and our own people and THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS of innocent Iraqis have died and for what? Some bizarre vendetta, or perhaps OIL?
GREAT! I hope all the Repubs are HAPPY!

If 10 is irate, that's where I'm at. How much money would anyone on here be willing to bet that when Bush makes his speech in a week or so about future plans for Iraq that he brings up the spectre of 9/11 at least once? Everyone knows Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11 by now and he keeps bringing out that same old smokescreen. Iraq is really about his vendetta to remove Hussein from power - and now he's got us stuck in there with no way out. What an idiot!!!

10. this has, despite what we are supposed to believe, all the indications of another viet nam. we go to help and then become so enmired that we cannot extricate ourselves from the mess "with honor" while thousands of our boys die. and for what? why iraq? we are not in a hurry to help other peoples in the world with their problems, such as the south koreans, while the north korean nuclear threat grows and the size of their million man military. how can we not know that their underground testing has influenced the tectonic structure of the earth and helped to cause the recent earthquakes in hawaii and japan? but, of course, korea has no vast supplies of oil.
