what would you do if a group of people were really ticked off believing you did something that you never did.. and they manage to find you.. someone almost gets hurt bad. and you can NOT go to the police because it'll make it worse.. ?

they believe you said something that you didn't.. not something you can prove.. and cops would protect you today but those guys would get more mad and get you tomorrow!

Find a neutral person someone you trust and they trust.and meet with them.try to talk it through.Dont show them that you are scared.They feed off that.If talking doesn't work,then get a restraining order on them.They don't sound like the type of people you want around you anyway.Keep a cell phone on you,And always have a person with you. Let them know what is going on.If the talking and restraing order do not work, you have to call the police.Don't becaught in a situation where you wished you did.Good Luck...

Go to the cops -- if a life is truly at stake how can going to the police make it worse? In the meantime I wouldn't go anywhere by myself, and I'd just wait it out until they move on to the next drama.
