He's still alive. Celebrated his birthday not too long ago at his club in Nashville.

Blues singer BB King is still alive and celebrated his 81st birthday on September 16th. He is so famous that if he dies, the whole world will hear about it in the news and on Tv. I think he has quit making tours but from all I have heard he is still in fair health for his age.

My teens just saw him last month with their aunt in Columbia, Missouri. I have not heard anything about him passing since then. And my teens (also guitarists) who weren't at first real thrilled "about seeing some old guy" came home very impressed and in awe of him.
