OK...I am black and normally I would be offended by the use of the word blackie, but for some reason you've managed to make me laugh out loud with the use of both terms. I just feel like you are using them in jest and not as a derogation.
I really am still laughing.

Where to begin. I personally think that whitie is a ridiculous word used to reference white people. It practically involved to skil to create, and has lost all ability to assault any but the most ignorant and racist white people (see nazi and KKK).
Also, to merely call someone racist because they call you blackie is a bit unjustified. Perhaps they were merely trying to purpose that the ridiculous derivation of the word whitie sounds just as ridiculous when used for another race (think of others: yellowie, brownie, reddie, kinda dumb).
Regardless, people need to stop using these silly and trite slurs and perhaps think of better ways to spend there time, like volunteering at a boys and girls club of America, or visiting the retired in a nursing home. Just some suggestions.
Stop hating.

wtf is a whitie and a blackie? im no 'blackie'. im me. and i kno white ppl that would not appreciate being called a 'whitie'. the whit ppls that i kno dont even act like they r white, they're just them. and whats wrong with white ppl anyways? and to answer ur question, critisism of whites arent always by blacks it can be hispanics, asians, or even whites themselves. but i really dont think that ppl should be labeled based on the color of their skin. cuz if u do, then what would micheal jackson be? anyways, dont be a racist.
