Yes. My dad's peeps were all from the Czech Republic. My mom's dad is Italian and her mom was Polish and Welsh.

Yes, both sides of my family came originally from Holland to the States 4 or 5 generations ago (my parents moved to Canada shortly before I was born). My grandfather suspected that a few hundred years ago we may have been Jewish because of our last name (a Dutch variation of a common Jewish name) and the fact that our earliest traceable ancestors were merchants. It's funny to think of in a way, as most of our family are devout Christians.

I have quite a mix! One grandmother came from cherokee descent, the other from Germany, One grandfather from England and the other from Ireland

yes. The whole of my dad's side is from Germany. (not sure how long ago, but they're 100% German)
my maternal grandma's family is 100% German
my maternal grandpa's family had one Polish person.
So, I myself am 15/16 German and 1/16 Polish
