Advice on a couple of questions . . .?

Okay, so best answer gets 10 points. I have a huge Christmas party tomorrow night and want to look pretty. My skin is normally oily but I used a new wash and it dryed it out some, does anyone know a good mask or anything I can put on it to make it look smooth and nice? Would like homeade ideas if possible. Also what are some other tips for looking pretty? I have long blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin, 5'6'', and average weight.

I use purpose moisturizer and you can find it at cvs its really nice and it smells good too.
Looking pretty 101:
1)Dress or like a baby doll top tover some black pants or jeans*.
2)Make up:
a) lip gloss that matches top
b) eyeshadow that matches top, eyeliner, and mascara
3) black shoes
4) have a great time.

If you have baking soda at home, turn it into a paste with some water and use that to expholiate your face.
I've heard some people also use it as a mask, but I've never personally tried that. As a scrub it's wonderful! I have an oily face too and I use it every other day.

I have also used baking soda as a scrub and it's cheap and works well, but don't rub too hard or you can make your face red and ruddy.

NO idea what kind of clothing you like to wear but maybe some really sparkley earrings that would really brighten your whole face and look festive as well.

And a really sheer red lipstick/gloss. Applying lip balm first and then dabbing on red until you get a sheer wash of color looks really pretty like a candy apple :)

Well I use this really cool mask called M of the face its awesome!! As for your eyes use brown eye shadows and eyeliner and black mascara. don't use blue eyeshadow it takes away from your eyes. In winter it is best to curl or straighten hair. Almost any cute cloths you buy at the mall will work ,but buy really cute boots and some accessories.

for looking pretty id say light makeup) pink lipgloss looks really sweet on blondes and maby a little fake tan if your really fair. and if your skin as dryed out then id say get a moisturiser the body shop does a really goood vitamin E 24hour moisturiser hope this helps :)

I'm sorry I don't know any home remedies, but I use Clinique's Pore Minimizer Instant Perfector, it's lightly tinted, and completely wipes out all shine! It also really does lessen the appearance of pores.

have you ever tried any products from khols? you should try the american beauty section. its made from Estee Lauder but its just cheaper. there products are great.
