Complementary angles are two angles that equal 90 degrees.

If x is one angle, then your equation is
x + (2x +21) = 90
3x + 21 = 90
3x= 69
x =23.

2 * 23 + 21 = 67.

So, b is your answer.

A complementary angle is 90 degrees, so the first thing I would do is set up an equation:

x + (2x+21) = 90
3x+21=90
3x=69
x=23

So if the first angle is 23, the second angle must be 67 because 67 is one more than twice of 23.

Equation:///// Reason:
(x)+(2x+21)=180///// given
3x+21=180 ///// simplify
3x=159////// subtract
x=53 ////// divide

Its A when you plug in the value of X for each angle
