Why would you think they don't? A person is blind physically but not spiritually and in dreams which are real to you which you see and are a part of don't think for one moment a blind person does not or cannot see the same thing in a dream. After all, the spirit is not blind, only the body is blind.

That's a very good question.

There are two categories of blind people,
1) those who are blind by birth : these people do not see colors in their dream. Their dreams includes mostly sounds & emotions.

(2) those who became blind due to any happening in life: These people see colors in their dreams but the intensity of the colors is associated with the time when they last seen the colors in their original life before being blind.

Those who are congenitally blind (blind by birth) often have dreams that include more instances of sounds. Both groups experience dreams as imaginatively rich as those of sighted people.

Whether or not congenitally blind people dream in images has been studied, but the findings have been mixed – some studies conclude that congenitally blind people do not dream visual images, while other reports conclude that they do.

Helen Keller addressed the topic of dreams in her landmark work, The Story of my Life. Her dreams are discussed in Part. III, Chap. V

Yes! Absolutely. The Blind people in my beloved country Philippines can see their dreams. The blind people can play sports too. And they brought some trophy and medals in my country. They brought many awards and its a pleasure for me and my country. So, that's the proof!

Ray Charles saw his dreams (if you saw the movie, you'd know) but I think if a person was blinded all their lives they don't see their dreams. If a person was blinded in the middle of their lifetime like Ray Charles, they do see their dreams.

I am just guessing but if they are blind from birth I am betting no. Bu tif they lost their sight later in life I am betting yes. How could they "see" in their dreams if the brain has never "seen". No frame of reference.

Only if they LOST their vision ad some point. If they were born blind, they wouldn't know what anything looks like, and their brain couldn't reproduce the image.

they don't....unless they lost the sight after they knew things around them...you can't tell blind people since birth the colors, because they don't know the colors...but you can showed them shapes...maybe they dream about it
