I don't know if this is an outline for good people or whatever, but, I follow this, made it up, and felt a need to write it out...

Me Me Me Me Me. What am I going to do? Why does this have to happen to ME? Everyone seems to think this way. It's not that people aren't important... they are. On the grand scheme of things, though, they're only a grain of a grain of a grain of sand. Therefore, to say you are the most important being in the universe and to put others' needs before you isn't per se, wrong, as lacking in manners. If the entire universe was a pixelized 3D hologram, you'd never be able to point out the pixel that is "you". Nor would you be able to do it with anybody else, or even the planet Earth. We are, truly, that miniscule.

That does not mean we do not affect the universe, though. The Butterfly Effect proves this quite amply, "a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that ultimately cause a tornado to appear (or, for that matter, prevent a tor-

-nado from appearing)". No matter how small something is, or seemingly insignificant it is, it plays a role. So, theoretically, one sneezing could cause a black hole somewhere else in the universe. A more likely case is this: You're at a friend's house, you sneeze, your friend gets worried and offers you tissues, you refuse, when you leave you give them a hug goodbye, your friend gets sick, your friend takes antibiotics and her illness grows to be immune to it, she spreads it to other people she gets into contact with, and eventually, it gets to a military personnel incharge of nuclear weapons and they pass out while working, setting off a missile, destroying an entire country, the pollution causes the survivors to have mutated genes, which they pass on, the pollution causes giant gaps in the O-Zone layer, burning most of the earth to a crisp, making the polar icecaps to melt, causing a world-wide flood, and everyone dies. So, in that case, you being sick and not taking care of yourse-

-lf causes you to kill off the entire planet. This is why one should be mindful of their actions, health, and thoughts.

It may seem hypocritical, but, it is possible to both focus on yourself and not be selfish or egotistical. You just focus on living while worrying about how others are doing. Don't forget about yourself, but, don't worry too much about yourself, either.

One should invest time in learning how to do things on their own, without the help of others. This is something that large businesses are, for the most part, against. They figure if one can do something on their own -- make clothing, cook meals, make paper, make computers, make furniture, hunt, make weapons, etc. -- they won't have any form of business. It may be true, but, you would be relying on yourself, and you would be seen as a responsible and dependable person. Also, it's a nice way to pass the time. Knowing how to do these things could help you around the holidays. Make somebody a scarf, mittens, pie, st-

-ationary, a desktop computer, a willow chair... the more things you know how to do on your own, the more things you can give to others as gifts. Things mean a lot more to people when you make them yourself.

Remain active. Don't lounge around too much. Television is nice, so is the Computer... but do SOMETHING meanwhile that would render you active! If you're watching TV, get one of those exercise bikes and park it infront of the television, and get biking. Maybe weight-lift while on the computer. If something is less than a mile away, walk. If something is less than 5 miles away, bike. For the record, one mile is approximately 20 blocks. Being physically active will make you feel good, and, if you're lucky, look good as well.

Get sleep. Sleep is good for you. It's a restorative process that lets your body's functions slow down, and lets your brain waves switch to Delta waves. Besides that, it allows your brain to think over problems you're having, and ways to fix them. It also -

- gives you... DREAMS! Dreams are many MANY different things... they are representations of things that have happened in the past, they are representations of things that may happen in the future, they are your subconscious and unconscious speaking to you, and they are great ways to get ideas for stories, should you be a writer. Also, there was a study done on lab rats showing those that didn't get enough sleep became irratible, had lower immune systems, were lethargic, and quite a few even died. Don't end up like the rats. Be happy, healthy, awake, and living.

"Honesty is the best policy" for more than one reason. If you made a mistake, being able to admit you made a mistake proves that you are of good moral character. After all, everybody makes mistakes, that's why they made erasers for pencils, white-out for pens, and the backspace key for keyboards. If you didn't do something, don't hide the fact you didn't do it, should you be asked. Nobody should be blamed for something you h-

ave (not) done. If someone has told you a secret and asked you to not tell anyone, and you agreed, that's as good as making a promise. Do not make promises unless you know you can keep them... breaking a promise is dishonest. And you can be honest to a person asking you about another's secret. "I do know the truth about the matter at hand, but, I cannot discuss them with you, as you would not have me discuss your secrets with others, either." In time, you will be respected for this, along with trusted.

Know how to defend yourself and others, when defending is needed. Take up kickboxing, karate, tae kwon do, judo, whatever it may be so you can keep yourself safe. Do not hurt another if they threaten you or somebody else. Only hurt them if they attempt to put their words to action, or manage to. Even at that, do not kill the person. Simply render them unable of movement so you have enough time to escape, call the cops, whatever it may be. People who can defend themselves and others a-

-re looked up to, relied on, and, if you're kind, followed.

Treat the entire planet kindly. If a person is hurt, help them. If a plant is hurt, help it. If an animal is hurt, help it. Don't litter, it kills animals. And, in case it hasn't been realized before, humans are animals. If you would not want to find yourself or your friends or family tangled in plastic for can 6-packs or have a piece of glass through their hand or foot, do not do it to animals, either. If you have a yard, keep fauna about for the sake of the planet. Bees will go to the flowers, and will make honey. Honey will keep bees and other animals alive, including us humans! Not to mention that plants make oxygen, which we use to breathe. Use products that have not been tested on animals or involve an animal needing to be killed for the product to be made. I.E., use wool, but, don't use fox fur. Kind of like giving your hair to a cancer society opposed to getting scalped. Also, don't pollute the water. Animals, plan-

-ts, and YOU use it, and need it to live! After all, the human body is 60% water. Plus, it's just a good thing to do. If you want, plant fauna that produces things you can eat, like an apple tree, a pumpkin vine, a cabbage patch, so on and so forth.

Learn to understand common man. If you are unsure of what another is trying to tell you, be patient with them, and slowly ask them to explain to you whatever it is they are trying to express. In the end, you'll be able to help them better or react to them better, if they explain what they're trying to say, opposed to you guessing.

Everyone has their opinion, including you, and this is something one must come to terms with. There is no such thing as a "wrong" opinion. A piece of paper with a color that's a mixture of 75% blue and 25% red could be considered blue or purple. Likewise, life is like this. There is more than one course of action, more than one opinion that leads to those actions. Do not get angry with one because of their -

-opinion; get angry with one because of their actions. Even at them, inquire why they made the actions they did. They may have a truthful, believable reason, or a reason based in tradition or upbringing. NEVER tell somebody their opinion is wrong. Tell people who bring up a controversial opinion, "I honestly to not think the same way as you, but, it doesn't mean you're wrong, either".

Don't be afraid to express yourself in non-lethal, non-violent ways. If you feel the need to cry, cry. If you feel angry, punch a pillow, write poetry, or paint using a lot of reds and blacks. If happy, laugh, smile, paint with yellows and whites. Whatever it is, feel free to share your emotions with those who love and care about you... because they will be the ones who will cry with you, and comfort you, calm you down, listen to you, and share your feelings. In the end, they'll feel happy on the inside, because you trust them enough to be open with them. If you're being gutsy, be open about how you'r-

These are just a few policies I follow... I don't suppose it necessarily makes me a good person, but, I still try.

Congrats if you read it all. What do you think of it? Will you follow it? I know it's a lot to read... but... yeah.

remind me never to sneeze again. its not possible for a person to be mindful of indirect consequences of their actions that cannot be foreseen.
but i like what u said. its true(i have a few points of disagreement, but nvm those)
will i live by this? erm... not really, i have my own way, and some parts of it are similar, some are different. it also evolves as i learn.

I'm not sure why you felt the need to post this on Y!A. This is the kind of stuff I wrote in my journal in middle school then I tore out the pages and threw them away because even I was too embarrassed to ever read it again. It's some sort of purging vanity piece.

Not for long. To be blunt, you are kind of scatter-brained and long-winded. That's a good reason not to listen to someone. I would suggest that you think about what you want to say before you actually say it. Good luck.
