Friends, for sure...what a great show that was and I doubt there will be another like it.
West Wing...I loved the fact that it was a smart show and didn't talk down to viewers. They trusted we were smart enough to know what was going on in the world and in politics to 'get it'. My Wednesday nights haven't been the same since it got cancelled.
There are so many others...The Cosby Show, Cheers, All In The Family, Family Ties, Beauty and the Beast, Remington Steele (I used to dream about Pierce Brosnan every Friday night).

Last year, I was really upset that Surface on NBC got cancelled. It was a good show. Years ago, there was an amazing show, China Beach, that I loved. I could not believe it got cancelled.

The best show that was ever on tv...."Gunsmoke." It had the finest cast and best writers for that time. There was a special blend of drama,humor,subtle romance and,oh,yes, a little rough and tumble cowboy action. James Arness, Amanda Blake,Milburn Stone, Dennis Weaver...and then later Ken Curtis, were wonderful. WHAT an emsemble. i have not had the excitement of observing traveller yet they tried to cancel Jericho and human beings united. I leave out Love Monkey so convinced I do hate it alot. i don't believe of they have a good count number at present with DVR and different recording contraptions even with the former VCR's recording the exhibits to carry close what human beings watch.
