Freddie Mercury is seen as one of the greatest 'live' performers, and his performance at Live Aid has gone down in history. He stole the show!
He was an extremely gifted musician and performer, and to this day (except perhaps Robbie Williams), no one has come close to matching his magnetism on stage.
I'm in the UK, and he is sorely missed by many people. Whether they were a fan of Queen or not, none of them can deny his magnetism and talent.
He really never will be bettered.

Freddie was the best is the best and will forever be the best! Queen was the best band ever made!

I think he was fabulous!! Queen rocked - still does. His death did a lot for the awareness of AIDS. He was the first rocker to come forward with such information - however late it was. His life was too short...

For me he was a really great singer and seemed to really enjoy what he did. It's too bad that he had to die young and by such a horrible and ugly death. I love to listen to "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" and others.
