I have been infatuated 3 times in my life--not in love. Those three fizzled out.

Yes!!! and the sensation of falling in love with that someone is something out of this world!!!
I`m from Uruguay (South America) and I deeply fell in love with an american policeman from Los Angeles in 2001. I still love him in spiteof the fact that he forgot about me and married a mexican woman some time ago.
He told me that as I had an european background, his mexican family wouldn`t accept me. I do not care, I shouldn`t have fallen in love with him, but after I did, I do not regret it. It`s the most amazing sensation I have ever felt in my life!!! And I took advantage of enjoying him and the feeling till the end of our relationship.

I cant say love, as love is a human concept, but maybe lust. Yes I have fallen in lust with someone I should not have. That, needless to say, makes for serious problems.

yes. And trying to move on. Not listening to love songs or watching sentimental songs. Have dusted off my Nine Inch Nails and AC/DC records -- nothing lovely about them!
