You can't. They are mutually inclusive. (Go look it up on your funk and wagnell, poser. (please note the spelling there.))

Well, technically, you have to make sure your current friends are okay with this change. Get to know your skater people better, and become friends with them. Don't befriend only one of them and start dressing exactly like that person and acting like that person. because that's annoying and classified as major poser. Wear what you like, don't become a different stereotype just because it's "cool" though, because goth is a growing trend at our school, but i'm never going over to the "dark side." Just do what you think is sensible, and consider your actions.

If you just dress like them, then you will become a poser. The best thing you can do bra, is to get a board , try sk8ing out. practice. If you get stoked, then keep at it. Find some people to skate with, and learn a few things from them. My friends sister was a awesome surfer, but alot of the times she would just paddle out and not get on any waves, she would just talk to other surfers. They would call her a poser, then she would shread up the waves and they would so her some respect.
It is all about respect, just dressing like one doesn't make you one.

All you should do is make a large *** of your self. that you've already performed with techniques from asking this question. Deep down you comprehend who you truly are. (in case you've been a "skater chick" at heart you does not ought to ask a thanks to be one.) both be the guy you're interior or be a recluse. only don't be a friggen wannabe.

Just say you got a skateboard for Christmas and decided to go all out. Or say your cousin is a skater, who spent x-mas with you, got you hooked and you asked for skater chic stuff for christmas and thats all you got.

It's hard to dress "like a skater" w/out ppl calling you a poser. just be yourself, whether its being a skater chick or not!

just change slowly instead of all at once, make subtle changes over a few weeks until you look like you want.
but personally i wouldn't recommend it, unless you know how to skate because if you don't that's kinda poser-ish in my opinion,
like i don't skate so i don't dress like a skater.

you can wear the fashionable clothes and not be a "poser" you just cant live the skater life, or pretend that you have a clue how to skateboard if you dont.
