The Honky Tonk Man tells me that he would work only if I meet the following requirements #1) he is to be pose as the good guy and will only wrestle against bad guys #2) 1,000 per match a setup table for autographs which he is to keep all of the funds + airfare hotel rental car "which he will not accept any discount for hotels airfare car etc promoters must pay full prices" = about another 800 to 1,000 dollars #3) "which is my favorite" I must make sure that I supply him with M&M's candy and that I must make sure all the red ones are out.

"what i told him" if this was 1988 or if he was just fresh out of the WWF/E i would do as i could to make his visit a good one , but also told him that he is a grown man and that if he is able to wipe his an azz that he should be able to take out his own M&M's I am not a baby sitter nor his daddy "with his name alone how much could he bring to me" this was the real question, is he worth it? to me NO

The Honky Tonk Man's star power ran out a long time ago.He is now a washed up wrestler and we need to find new stars.I liked watching him 20+ years ago.

Whatever your promotion is, if you put the Honkey Tonk Man on you program-everyone that shows up will assume that he's there for commentary, autograph signing, or to be a manager. If you put him in a ring-I guarantee you will have to refund every ticket you sold. Piper is worth it. Flair is worth it. Hogan is worth it. Even Terry Funk is worth it. But HTM is not worth it.
