Not at all, it's just part of my life that provides the means to it.

YES. I focused on my career for many years pushing everything else to the wayside. Now I am home with small children married to a man I'm not sure I was ever in love with, but shared my career goals, and am feeling a little empty. The friends I had before have drifted away and while I am glad to be financially settled I wonder if it was all worth it. I was in love once when I was young and what if I had not lived the career path and stayed with him? What if I had not traveled around the world for my job? These are the questions I'm asking myself and its frightening.

actual, Sainty, i are not getting it, rather. existence is ridiculous 0.5 of the time, yet i'm ridiculous the different 0.5. And if I end to think of roughly any subject, i think ridiculous. interior the top, i'm uncertain what to make of all of it. i will on no account say that there is a dazzling course for existence or a incorrect one, yet there won't be a incorrect one, the two. So, i think that there may well be some form of private fee in existence that i'm lacking. possibly i'm watching a bigger image than what rather concerns. possibly i'm looking too small, nonetheless. yet, those moments of organic laughter experience marvelous, and that i like those. So I comprehend what you assert. yet regrettably, because of the fact that I comprehend it, i won't rather answer the reasoning at the back of it- if that makes any experience. yet like existence, it in all likelihood is purely common previous ridiculous! =)

Never figured out what my destiny would be....always difficult it seems. My career has not distracted me. Caused me to go broke twice. If I never tried, I always would have wondered. Great question by the way.

Yes, I did... but decided to do something about it.
I spent 12 years in the family pet shop, helped the local vet during my summer vacations when I wasn't on my Aunt's ranch helping with her show dogs (I also started helping with minor surgical procedures before I hit 10).
I wanted to breed and show dogs, become a professional groomer, handle dogs for other breeders and get my Vet license.
(My Nana, Mom & Aunt were involved in show dogs, grooming and had a pet shop)
When I was 21 some family stuff happened, I had to leave my home town and pick a career "quick"... it was accounting??? I've worked really (really) hard the last decade to get back on track.
I got my first show dog 2 years ago (got her championship in October), recently took on two dogs for a local breeder (I champed his male in 4 shows), am presently looking to purchase another dog for myself and am waiting for acceptance into a couple of canine wellness courses.
Next summer I plan to open a canine wellness center, offer specialized breed grooming (by professional breeders, not some kid who learned all breed grooming & doesn't even own a dog).
I also hope to start working toward my Vet certificate by the fall of 2008.
It's been a long road to get this far, but in the distance I see a new road I'm close to taking...

That may be, but without a job, all you're going to think about is how poor you are, and not about your real destiny in life.

Yes. My career pretty much consumes my life. Unfortunately, that's the way it is here in America.
My wife and I have seriously considered becoming missionaries. Selling all of our worldy posessions and moving to another country to where God leads us and to share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
