Noone one is worth your mental, physical or emotional health.
Its great he got the help, but you also need your alone time to think about what you want and need. He really loves you, he will give you that. After this, I suggest you both go in together... if after that you still want him go for it.
Safetly first girl....

It certainly can be providing partner has learned different methods on dealing with his abuse. There are a lot of relationships that have not only been helped but have also been saved due to partner seeking help for behaviours they are willing to change.

i think it will never work since the respect is lacking it will never be the same once some one hit you it over and its best is to leave the abusive relationship. for the abuser it will only make him or her think they are powerful and for the abused they will have lack of courage.. so hon it not and will never ever be a day in life that it will work

it sounds like they are not working very hard to save this relationship. if you think that it is worth saving then have some counselling with the both of you. but if you think its not then i would call it quits. just let go and go on with your life and find someone who would be willing to have a good working relationship with you. you should know when its time to let go or stay.

no one is going to be able to answer this accurately for you. You need to think about the potential price that you are paying though by remaining in the relationship.
