Your last full period was the end of your last cycle. You began a new cycle after that period, where your uterine lining thickened, and you released and egg for fertalization.

Your doctor will count from the first day of that last full period for your pregnancy. S if you are just now late and got a positive result, you are about 4 weeks pregnant, although you concieved about 2 weeks ago.

It depends. How old are you? Are your cycles regular? And how old were you when you started having periods? If you are in your first few years of having periods you could just be very irregular. It also depends on when during the month you have/had your period. You ovulate roughly 14 days after your last period do you could have become pregant at 14 days before when you typically should have started your period or 14 after your last one.

If you have any question, you should see a physician. A home pregnancy test may be helpful but remember depending on how early you are in your pregnancy, it may or may not detect it depending on test. If there is any question, you would need a blood test, specifically one called a qualitative HCG that measures the hormone associated with pregnancy. If that is positive, (suggests you are pregnant), then your doctor may want to get a quantitative HCG, that tell you how much hormone your body is making and can give a rough estimate on how far along you may be.

I hope this helps you.

Many will argue this, but my boyfriend came to visit me in another state, we slept together. I had my period (a little lighter) and didn't the following month. The doctor tried to say that I was only a few weeks pregnant. I had to argue with him that it could not be a possibility as that was the last time I had sex. So if you think that you were pregnant last night, than you probably were. Good luck and congratulations. You'll know for sure the more your due date comes near...

depends on when you had your period. If you had your period at the begining of the month you could of gotten pregnant last month but if you had your period at the end of the month then you got pregnant this month. Go to the doctor they can figure it out for you.

You became pregnant this month. Once you have your period, you cant be pregnant, which means the month that you missed is the month you got pregnant. Be sure to make an appointment with a Obstetrician, pre-natal (before birth) doctors visits are very important. Your doctor will be able to tell you close to the day when you got pregnant.

I'd say this month, although it's best to check with your ob/gyn, there's always a slight chance there was just some bleeding to start with. They'll do a scan and tell you how far along the baby is.
Congrats!

it is possible to have a period and still be pregnant. I personally had that experience with my first pregnancy and my fourth also.
Only a doctor can tell you for sure
