I understand your hesitation, especially if it is your first flight, but would tell you that flying is still much safer than driving. You might want to talk with some friends who have flown and find out what it's like from them. I've flown all over the world and have never had a problem, not even lost luggage. Talking to your doctor about your fears might be something you can do as well. Just try to relax if you can...everything will be ok.

If you give up your life because there MIGHT be a terrorist attack, the terrorists win. Of course it is remotely possible something horrible could happen, but then you could have a horrible accident while driving to the local store. That would have nothing to do with terrorism, but the consequences would be the same. Flying remains one of the safest forms of transportation there is. If anything, it is more secure now than it was before the 2001 attacks. Security is much better than it used to be. It isn't perfect, but it is vastly improved. Use common sense, and always keep your guard up a little. But don't be scared away from what is almost certainly the safest possible way to reach your destination.

it relatively is slightly morbid to think of roughly that may no longer it? The results of a terrorist attack is adverse, for the sufferers. that's an atrocity, a criminal offense against humanity. As for the economic device, there are various components to think approximately. between the main issues that failed with George W. Bush replaced into that he tried to word an previous formula, and did no longer have success, because of fact the worldwide replaced. What formula: war is a physically powerful deal, war is stable for the economic device. His father, previously going to Gulf and putting Kuwait unfastened from Saddam, already had contracts signed with businesses that would income from the aftermath of the war. George Bush tried to do the comparable, on Iraq. yet terrorism, at present, replaced the way wars are fougth and won. If he had succeeded, he might nevertheless be oftentimes going on, at present. yet, besides, war can nevertheless be a "stable" investment, issues can replace back. So, in end, possibly right here punitive war, after a terrorist attack, might develop the economic device up. it relatively is achievable, in a tragic, adverse way, yet achievable.

whats your flight #? of course there will be another attack it will never end regardless what we do for security someone somewhere will get through. but with the amount of flights daily from any one airport the odds are highly in your favor that nothing will happen other then maybe the person next to you snores the entire flight or they run out of peanuts.

As for passing security if theres a will theres a way its like hiding candy from your parents when they say you can't have any you find a way to keep it from them

Another success story for the bush administration. They got you good didnt they. You have much more chance being gunned down outside a night club by a policeman than being taken out by a terrorist.
Get someone to line a room in your house with thick padding, bar the windows, lie on the floor and suck your thumb.

First of all the guy who wanted to bomb the mall was on his own and not involved in any group so you do not have to worry about him. Here is what I think. Go on your trip and stop worrying cause worrying will not solve anything. We can be afraid of everything or choose not to. Some people are afraid of dogs but they cannot let that keep them indoors the rest of their lives right? Go have fun and remember that there is a lot of security on those planes now. Be sure to take that camera and get some good aerial shots of all the neat stuff you will be seeing.

The fear you are experiencing is irrational. Every day there are tens of thousands of flights in the united states, and not one of them are brought down by a terrorist attack. Flying is one of the safest ways to travel, do not worry about terrorists. The united states is a very safe country and terrorism in this country is very remote.

This is what terrorists do, terrorize. Stand up. Everyone one on your plane will stand and fight cause they know what the end result is. I fly all the time and when your time is up its up. Do you think the Flight 93 felt anything, no they were all dead before they hit the ground, the pressure would have exploded their heads.

Wow, I thought I was the only one scared of flying after 9-11.

My late Grandmother always told me, You have to face your fears.

I think you have a higher chance of dying in a car accident then a plane crashing when your on board, thats what my uncle has always said to me to.

Good Luck!
