I like Ella the best. I've considered it if I ever have a girl.

I think that the nicknames you have chosen are beautiful but to me they aren't really nicknames...they are just a new name similiar to the name you have.
The names are also very popular so you definitely aren't going to become the only Lily or Elle or Ella in the store.
How about somethign that is more of an actual nickname but still cute like: Mimi, Lee-Lee, MEM (said M - E - M), or M'Lee?
Good luck. Getting people to call you by your new nickname is going to be the hard part!

I tried instituting a nickname for myself. This did NOT work. My name is Margaret - which is susceptible to MANY nicknames. I've figured this out - people give you a nickname that they find endearing. Whether you like it or not, it's usually something that THEY like. Roll with the punches. It's weird to just up and change your name. Keep it real.

Well my name is Emily and I've always been called Em. When I was younger I was also called Emmy but I finally outgrew that one! Personally, since my name is Emily also, I think Elle and Lily are great nicknames for our name. I remember growing up with little siblings and cousins who couldn't quite say "Emily" so what they ended up saying sounded alot like "Lily". I think it's cute :-)

Milly is cute, but might make ya sound older....depending on your age i like Ella, sounds appropriate for all ages to me. Elle just reminds me of legally blonde..that was her name in that movie. Lily is also very nice too. When naming my kids, i am trying to avoid names that have shorternings unless i like the shortenings. I have a Justin and a Kaden...no shortenings! haha good luck!!

Ella is nice. Milly sounds like an old lady in a nursing home.
