I wear clinique foundation and concealer and it seems my face always gets shiny after an hour. It's so embarrassing. I wash my face before i put on makeup and it still happens. My face is oily to begin with and i have acne scars so i need to do something that won't clog pores and cover my scars. PLease help!

get the Clean N Clear oil remover pads. They come in a little container and can easily fit in your purse. You just take one and wipe it on your face and it will remove the oil. Those things work great. The last time I checked they were a little pricy, but they are definitely worth the money
also, I use Maybelline Pure Makeup and Pure powder. Its the stuff in the aqua colored containers and it's really inexpensive. It is made with 50% water so it won't clog your pores. By the way, I have been dealing with acne for almost 10 years, so I know from experience that this stuff works great for oily skin.

That means your oil glands are over productive, same here. Before you put on anything wash your face with the 3 step proactive system, then the proactive daily oil control. Then follow with your clinique makeup. Try to stick with clinique. Why? Well clinique rests on top of your face and doesnt go into groves or pores others sink becuase there very heavy duty makeup, ( mac makeup etc. )

Personally if you don't like how the product works change. if you dont like to use the liquid then switch to something else. I would switch to a minerals make up I use bare minerals and i love, you can try that or use something else. Some people like everyday minerals just because its cheaper but my friend broke out from that so it's you judgement.

Oh my God listen to the person who said bare Minerals- There is a GOD, I love this stuff. I have acne & enlarged pores- My face looks PERFECT in 5 minutes.

Use corrective make up base instead of foundation. then following with powder. That is lighter, and most of the base come with control effect, moisture, sun block & etc.

the bare minerals is a good suggestion. I have them and they work well. You may have to keep powdering your face though.

you should buy an oil control type mosturizer and put it on before you apply your makeup, I know I do this and I don't get shiney for atleast a whole school day which in my case is about 6hours.

I would try the mary kay oil control foundation......arbonne has something like that as well, both are really good products, i hope this helps, good luck!
