I would like some help in dealing with these headlights. They are almost blinding and they end up affecting how I drive. It feels so intrusive and rude. Sometimes I can't get to another lane and I am therefore stuck. I really think (unfortunately for some) that if the driver needs such bright headlights to see, they probably shouldn't be driving at night at all!
Do these headlights annoy you or is it just me?

the bigest problem is that they need to be aimed.and it doesnt get done

I used to think they were annoying too! Until I got my new car. I got the optional "visibility package" and that included the Xenon headlights. They are much brighter and I guess the theory is that they will lighten up the area you are in better and therefore make it safer. I have to agree with you about getting hit in the face with them.. but they DO make it easier to see in the dark. The car I have (an '06 Saab 9-5) automatically adjusts according to the weight in the car and the lamps actually move, so as to NOT hit other drivers in the face.
Too bad all cars with these lights dont have that.

it is a safety feature. it helps u see better while driving. would u rather see the kid wearing all black or hit him???? i think id sooner see him first. however i have to agree with the angle that the lights r set at. its like u cant even see till the car has travelled past u. i cant really complain too much as i use the same super bright lights in my own car. somehow i think its mostly to do with young teens and adults. not really too sure lol. just my own 2 cents

nope, it's not just you...
The idea behind them is to see further ahead on the road or see any wildlife that may run out...
They just annoy the crap out of me as well...I am a night worker and they are really bad when you are bleary eyed to begin with at like, 4 in the morning...
It is just overkill, all together, I have never met a nice person with these headlights...
These are the jerks that never dim them when they meet you on the highway mostly as well...

they're called Xenon, and they have a blue tint to them. anyway, just get over it. they can't dim the lights, that's the lowest they go without turning them off. plus, they come standard on many higher end cars (BMW, Audi, etc.)

I know exactly what you mean,I hate those lights too!! It looks like they are driving with their high-beams on,sooooo rude!!!
