It was working fine earlier today. I was listening to the song on my myspace. Now, all of a sudden it doesn't work, and I don't know why.
I don't have speakers that's wired to my laptop, it's built in.
It's called "Conexant AMC Audio." I tried the troubleshooting, but that didn't seem to help me much.
Any computer experts out there?

If the speaker icon appears in the start tray, click on that. If not, Open Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices. Unmute everything, move all the slides up to full, play some test sounds on the sounds tab. If all else fails, open System, Hardware, Device manager. If your sound card is yellow or red, delete it and reinstall it. Everything should work again as new.

Built in huh? Well try to play something other than from the Internet. ITUNES, WMP something that plays audio. To test if it might be a plug-in problem(which MS has a big problem with) .

Then try to play something trough your AUDIO OUT jack. AKA headphone jack. Just to see if it's your computer or the speakers.

If all fails. A nice warranty check with your company will do the trick.

OUT OF WARRANTY: visit your local best buy, circuit city and try there computer services to check the problem.

that is because of the fact they are unquestionably plugged right into a headphone port. The laptop kills the audio device because of the fact that a lot of folk shuttle with laptops and it would not make experience to pay attention to your track super loud with headphones on on an identical time as the track is popping out of your audio device. there won't be a fashion.

Make sure the speakers are not muted or turned down in the sound control in the system tray.
Many laptops have an actual volume control on the case, make sure you didn't turn them down accidentally.
