i think Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest was the #1 movie of 2006.
it was #1 at the box office for 3 weeks!

by box office success it was Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
to NM grl: Eragon hasn't even come out yet, and it will suck cuz its creators are trying to cash in on the Lord of the Rings craze, but it just won't size up to the Rings movies.

it is the future of filmmaking
it was the same old film but what this writer is tapping into and
playing with the actual "field" in the film experience arises in
i felt it in the first 1 minute that it was not the content which was strirring me but the whole field in which is was being made and seen from....watch it and see what i mean.... impactful
what is next in film as i see it is that we play with the fields and not the content
a film like Lord Of The Rings with all its astonishing jurassic production efforts was as boring to me as a film can be and everyone felt it but no one could vocalize it.
It was lots of visual stuff all being presented in the old field - such a yawner - sent me running from the theater.
