Ok, I need to get gifts for my best friend's mom. Since it's Christmas, but I'm already trying to earn enough cash to buy gifts for my best friend which is hard enough, not to mention for her little siblings. So what is cheap but still a great gift? I know about candy, flowers, make-up and jewelry, but what else?

A woman with children...you call her janani, a devout mother though, the gifts that she would want will remain endless and that you want to pick for her is boundless. A gift however is anything parted with pleasure by the one who gives away and cherished as a treasure by the one who receives it. If you agree with me on that then i would suggest you try this... buy her a lovely greeting card and mark these words from your heart:
"Dear Auntie,
I might buy you sweets, chocolates, dolls, jewelry, flowers, make-up items, dresses and every thing you had ever wished for...But they will all perish....So i am giving you this card with all my love and respect for you and that will be forever. Do bless me on Chrismas day that all my dreams should come true...".
well, wont that be the finest gift to know how much someone loves and respects her?

Get her a gift certificate for a local spa or for a makeover at Glamour Shots, like that. You could also give her some sweet little handmade coupns good for one or two nights out of the house and believe me, she will probably love that. It is so nice to hear from a thoughtful, sweet young person like yourself. I am not digging for points, especially since I cannot buy anything I like for giving a good answer. I would buy you a really phat pair of shoes if I could just for asking such a caring question.

I am assuming you are old enough to watch the kids. Make her up a Little booklet with coupons in it of things you will do for her: 3 free hours of baby sitting, take care of the younger kids while she takes a long leisurely soak in the tub, lunch made for her and the kids, clean her kitchen, watch th ekids while she takes a nice long nap, that sort of stuff. A grown woman with kids would LOVE someone to give her a bit of time to herself with out a fight, argument or monetary out lay.

How about a day of housecleaning? A meal cooked and served and cleaned up? A scarf? Gloves? A book about the area you live in or an area she would like to live in? Good luck.
